Many of us could use extra money to support our writing habits. Attending conferences, taking writing courses and buying books takes money we sometimes don't have. Freelancing is a great way to earn and learn.
It's a job that will tax your time, confidence and schedule. But it can work if you persevere.

ReplyDeleteYou know I don't do this but I've heard it's a good idea. I think the reason is that I struggle to write only a short amount of words. I'm much more a novelist than a writer who writes only 500 words. Maybe I just need to apply myself more. I find it much easier to write long stores.
ReplyDeleteFunny enough, when I rediscovered writing, I started out with articles on the craft of writing. Now, I don't have much time for writing those or the short stories that have earned me money in the past. Go figure.
